The last night in Chiang Mai was probably the greatest. We went to the Riverside Restaurant where they have live music every night. We heard 3 different groups who covered all sorts of songs like Hey Jude, What a Wonderful World (Louis style!), and I'm Just a Girl. So fun!

Hey J-Le,
Sad I missed the Riverside - that's a pretty swank joint...

We missed you on Friday - the last night for the rest of us... the kantoke dinner was fun, then Thom & Bonnie and Mike & Margaret swing danced (guess that's an entry requirement for PNG survey!) in the hotel lobby, & then Phil, Thom, Mike, Karl & I karaokeed (is that a word?) "Lean on me" in 5-part harmony while the lobby pianist improvised accompaniament. A few of us stayed up for a few hours afterwards sharing survey stories with each other. Best night of the conference for me.

Glad to see ya'll are having a great time down there in "Poo-ket"! Will you be at AGH before you leave? Give my greetings to Cortney & Erin!

See you when I see you,
John
