Getting down this trail is apparently much easier than getting up it! We spent maybe 20 minutes scavenging for sticks and branches to lay in the ruts, hoping to get a bit of traction.

that "road" actually looks quite a bit like our road going up our hill! all the rain has taken its toll... wow, ca - that looks crazy. and that poor bridge! quite a story. i had to go to your blog and check it out, because evie today said you had posted pictures of you swimming in what looked like sewage water. mmmm. that spider is yuck, ca. stay away from those, okay?
Sewage water?!! Whatever. We were out in the middle of no where, next to a rainforest. The water seemed quite clean to me!
